Initiative



Hopping into his car to leave for Doctot's first ever meeting, Consortium co-founder Fergal McDonnell turned on the radio to Bruce Springstein's "Dancing in the Dark". Touched by the lyric: "You can't start a fire without a spark"; that evening, Fergal designed a customised Doctot screensaver for his fellow co-founders, which featured said words. Three dozen market-leading Apps later, not just the co-founders but all within the Consortium have the screensaver upon their devices, continually treating the lyric as a guiding light.



Communication



Feeling we become stronger when we listen and smarter when we share; communication that is open, clear, accurate, candid, timely and succinct is always promoted inside the Consortium with staff, and outside with customers and clients.



Cooperation and Coordination



Knowing individual commitment to a collective effort can lead to something pretty special; we do everything we possibly can to coordinate our naturally cooperative staff with respect to planning, activities, priorities, and systems.



Systemisation



In awe of the ingenious synchronised support system that migratory birds employ; the least we feel we can do is ensure that our R&D, programming, production, sales, marketing, promotions, communications, customer service, accounting, recruitment and training departments are systemised to industry-leading standards.



Discipline



Not only business but sport and indeed nature taught Doctot's founders that discipline is the bridge between goals and achievement. Having developed an incredible appreciation for it, discipline in relation to organisational policies, rules, procedures, systems, ethics, schedules, and standards is continuously demanded by management from all team members.



Accountability



Due to our desire to always exceed user expectations, internally there can be no hiding place at Doctot. Whilst the environment they operate in is one of safe conflict and safe confrontation, our staff members appreciate that they will always be held wholly accountable for their performances and actions, something that helps to ensure they stay at the very top of their game.
